The Hutter family on Flammkuchen Profi

Company history

Family-owned business
since 1982

Our company’s history began in 1975 with a visit to Alsace. It was there that Managing Director Andreas Hutter discovered his love for Flammkuchen and decided to bring this traditional French dish back to his home region in the Palatinate.

This enthusiasm led to the founding in 1982 of Flammkuchen Profi, a family-run business specialising in frozen Flammkuchen, Flammkuchen specialities and Flammkuchen flooring.

To this day, we continually develop our range of products and our processes. In doing so, we combine experience, short channels and personal advice.

Manufacturers of Flammkuchen and Flammkuchen flooring

The passion for traditional Flammkuchen from Alsace continues to define Flammkuchen Profi to this day. We remain committed to the concept of a thin base and a simple, straightforward preparation method.

This results in frozen Flammkuchen and Flammkuchen bases for practical use.

Everything in one location

Our location in
the Southern Palatinate

Today, Flammkuchen Profi is based in Offenbach an der Queich in the Southern Palatinate. Here, production, warehousing, administration and consultancy are all located close together. This ensures short distances, clear coordination and a close link between organisation, product development and customer service.

The site was expanded in 2025 with the construction of a modern logistics centre. Around 2,500 deep-freeze storage bays provide additional capacity for the storage of deep-frozen Flammkuchen, Flammkuchen specialities and Flammkuchen bases.

Flammkuchen with onion & tasty

Alsatian feeling for everyone

The organic vegan flammkuchen with onions and „Schmeckt“ is a plant-based alternative to the Alsace-style flammkuchen: featuring a high-quality soya-based flammkuchen crème, onions, chives and savoury soya protein strips ('Schmeckt') as a bacon substitute. These give our vegan flammkuchen the typical hearty, smoky taste of Alsace.

Greek-style Flammkuchen

A taste of the holiday life

The vegetarian Greek-style flammkuchen is a true culinary experience, inspired by Mediterranean cuisine: mild, green pepperoni peppers and tender pieces of shepherd's cheese, enhanced with parsley. Particularly delicious with a glass of Greek white wine or a cool, pale beer, it tastes like a holiday along the Mediterranean coast. Alongside the Alsace-style flammkuchen, it is the most popular among our classics.
